The Festival international Kreol in Mauritius in December the ‘Festival international Kreol’ instead of under is the motto on Mauritius for the fourth time Viv to kreolite”held from 29 November to 5 December 2009. The island in the Indian Ocean invites locals and visitors become acquainted with the Creole culture with all its different facets and to enjoy with all your senses. The island is known for its many different population groups, which Mauritius live peacefully together and fuse together in a unique way in the Creole culture. To celebrate this cultural diversity, and the Creole culture also visitors to bring, the Festival international Kreol in life was launched in 2006 by the Ministry of tourism, in cooperation with the Ministry of culture. A week visitors can visit anywhere concerts, exhibitions, lectures and discussion groups on the island. Sega dance at the foot of Le Morne, theatrical performances before the historic Representatives of all American regions present their cultural backdrop of the Cathedral of Port Louis and Creole cuisine in Mahebourg.
