Up next on 26 November we will be celebrating in Cadiz the 9th edition of the Festival of music Espanola de Cadiz.9th edition of the Festival de Musica Espanola de Cadiz this festival is celebrated always coinciding with the anniversary of the birth in this city of the Composer Manuel de Falla. Concerts, workshops, exhibitions, publications, didactic concerts, discussion forums are some of the activities that the city become the Centre of reference of Spanish music and by natural extension, the Ibero-American music. Organized by the Ministry of culture of the Junta de Andalucia, the Festival thrives on the presence of the four Andalusian institutional orchestras (Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga), along with other orchestral ensembles, Chamber, and soloists of renown, with incidence in the recovery of heritage, the submission of new repertoires and attracting new audiences. Complementary activities include the conclusion of discussion forums, professional meetings, workshops and exhibitions with the goal of converting the Cadiz Festival instead of annual meeting of Spanish music. Scenarios in which the activities will be developed are, among others, Gran Teatro Falla, the Provincial Museum, the mine square or the Church of Santa Maria.
